Rings on a tree? What can that mean? What do rings on a person’s body mean?
I think rings on a person or on a tree are first of all simply something decorative, an addition to an outfit. Beyond that, rings can also have a deeper meaning.
Here they are meant as a greeting, perhaps expressing a welcome to watch us work.…
The pictures on this page show an important place, it is our meeting place when we come together for the workshops.
Our location is in 87748 Fellheim, in the Illerauen, where our workshops take place.
The participants come from different places in Southern Germany, for 2 – 3 days in different seasons we leave all our usual activities behind and pursue our hobby, the creation of objects with natural materials.
“Only use what is already there” – that is our principle.
Ideas are easy to find in this multifaceted natural space, we just have to be open to the suggestions that nature gives us. In video conferences we agree on what we want to realise in the workshops.
Naturally, our works are not long-lasting, because the seasons, wind and weather take over after completion. For some time now, we have attached QR signs to the locations of our works; the graphic contains a code which, when scanned, directs you to our homepage.
